Submit Late-breaking Abstracts

The American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology invites you to submit a late-breaking abstract for the ACAAI 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting in Anaheim, CA, November 9-13th.

Late-Breaking abstracts must include innovative research results that were not available by the regular abstract deadline. Due to the nature of these abstracts, there will be a VERY LIMITED number of abstracts accepted. These abstracts must contain primary data from groundbreaking laboratory studies or from novel or large clinical trials.

Late-breaking abstracts will be presented in unopposed sessions while no other scientific sessions or abstracts are being presented. They will be presented on a stage in the ePoster area of the convention center during morning and afternoon breaks from other scientific sessions. The presentations will be simulcast on multiple ePoster monitors to allow numerous attendees to see the data while being presented.

These impactful presentations, featuring the latest information on clinical research, will be heavily promoted prior to and during the Annual Meeting.

All accepted late-breaking abstracts will be presented in-person during the ACAAI 2023 Annual Meeting in Anaheim California. There is no  option for virtual presentation.

Authors of late-breaking abstracts will also have the option to upload an ePoster and audio recording that will be available to Annual Meeting Registrants during the meeting and for six-months following the close of the conference.

Details on the late breaking abstracts are as follows:

  • There will be a VERY LIMITED number of late-breaking abstracts accepted.
  • Late-breaking abstracts must have completed data for review.

  • Case reports and limited clinical case series without novel research interventions will not be accepted in this category.
  • Upon submission, the submitting author will be required to attest that it was not possible to submit by the Research abstract deadline of July 10th due to the late-breaking nature of data included within the abstract submission.
  • There is a $250.00 non-refundable fee for each late-breaking abstract submission.
  • Late-breaking abstracts will be reviewed by a select group from the abstract review committee due to the rapid turnaround time for review.
