Late-breaking Abstracts Are Now Being Accepted

The American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology invites you to submit a late-breaking abstract to be considered for oral presentation during the ACAAI 2026 Annual Scientific Meeting, November 12 - 16, 2026, in Phoenix, AZ.

Late-Breaking abstracts must include innovative research results that were not available by the regular abstract deadline. Due to the nature of these abstracts, there will be a VERY LIMITED number of abstracts accepted. These abstracts must contain primary data from groundbreaking laboratory studies or from novel or large clinical trials.

Selected Late-breaking abstracts will be presented in Oral Abstract sessions. These impactful presentations, featuring the latest information on clinical research, will be heavily promoted prior to and during the Annual Meeting. 

Details on the late breaking abstracts are as follows:

• There will be a VERY LIMITED number of late-breaking abstracts accepted.
• Late-breaking abstracts must have completed data for review.
• If you submit an abstract as a late-breaking abstract and it is not accepted, it will NOT be considered for acceptance in any other category, and will not be presented during the ACAAI 2026 Annual Meeting.
• Case reports and limited clinical case series without novel research interventions will not be accepted in this category.
• Upon submission, the Submitter will be required to attest that it was not possible to submit by the Research Abstract deadline of July 13, 2026 due to the late-breaking nature of data included within the abstract submission.
• Late-breaking abstracts will be reviewed by a select group from the abstract review committee due to the rapid turnaround time for review.
• Accepted late-breaking abstracts will appear in the November 2026 online Supplement issue of Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. 
• Late-breaking abstracts otherwise have the same requirements as  Scientific Research Abstracts.

No requests for extensions will be honored.

Important: In-Person Presentation
All abstracts accepted for oral or ePoster presentation at the ACAAI 2026 Annual Meeting must be presented in-person. There is no option to present virtually. Presenting Authors must register for in-person attendance at the ACAAI 2026 Annual Meeting. Presenting Authors who are unable to register for in-person Annual Meeting attendance and travel to Phoenix to present their abstract will have the opportunity to designate a co-Author to serve as the Presenting Author. If no co-Authors are available to present, the abstract must be withdrawn by the submission deadline date. Failure to deliver an in-person presentation for oral and poster abstracts may result in the loss of future abstract submission and authorship privileges.
