Plan to Attend
Promoting Innovation and Diversity
ACAAI is excited to bring you the 2021 Annual Scientific Meeting, November 4 – 8. We are proud to be the first major allergy meeting to regroup in person and we are looking forward to seeing you this fall!
These past months have been very difficult for all, and we know that getting back to an in-person meeting will be meaningful in many ways. Join us in New Orleans for a diverse, interactive, and practical experience. The Annual Meeting Program Committee has developed outstanding sessions with practical “Podium to PracticeTM
” tips that you’ll be able to integrate into your practice immediately.
Experts in the field of allergy/immunology, dermatology, pulmonology, and otolaryngology will cover a broad range of topics to choose from. There is something for everyone – clinicians, academicians, fellows-in-training, allied health professionals, office managers and support staff.
The traditional Thursday program returns this year with a laser focus on dermatologic issues in allergy. COVID-19 will be highlighted from the allergist/immunologist perspective throughout the meeting, including the plenary session on Sunday, November 7 titled “Innovating Our Way Out of the Pandemic: Vaccines and Therapeutics.” Don’t miss it!
Favorite sessions from years past such as the Literature Review, Allied Health Course, FIT Bowl, and CAP Review will be back in all their glory!
Exciting session topics include climate effects on allergy, ICS/SABA vs ICS/LABA for mild asthma, 7 for 11 pediatric update, oral immunotherapy in private practice, and many others! The Office Administrator Course, now expanded to include physician practice leaders and renamed the Practice Management Program (PMP), also is scheduled, so please remember to include your office staff.
Finally, many of our social programs will be back including the President’s Welcome Reception, which will be held at the world-famous Mardi Gras World.
In addition to all the great education that will be offered, the meeting will enable you to reconnect with many of the friends and colleagues you’ve missed so dearly during the pandemic. We cannot wait to see you in New Orleans!
